Kumara Parvatha, the Pushpagiri reserve forest ( Dakshina Kannada district & Coorg district ) Around 350 kms from Bengaluru. Offers a thrilling trekking experience through lush forests and scenic vistas, making it a nature lover’s paradise.

HIGHLIGHTS :

• Points covered : Pushpagiri peak, Kumara Parvatha peak, Shesha Parvatha peak, Kallu Mantapa, Bhattara mane, Giri gadde.
• Trek distance : 20 kms total ( 7 kms ascending & 13 kms descending. 14 kms on day 1 & 6 kms on day 2 )
• Difficulty level – Moderate to Difficult , Western Ghats, Water streams

Every Friday night departure from Bengaluru. Back to Bengaluru on Sunday late night.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏 / 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚y

• 9.00 PM – Departure from Bengaluru ( Pickup points mentioned below )
• Stop for break around 11;30 pm. ** There won’t be much option in the menu for dinner at late-night, so better to finish dinner before boarding.
• Continue overnight journey towards Base point.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐 / 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚y

• Reach Somawarpete around 5 A.M , Check-in to the lodge rooms
• Freshen up, Have breakfast , Leave for trek starting point
• Reach the starting point around 8 – 8.30 A.M
• ** Will be leaving the main luggage inside our vehicle itslef, Carry only what’s necessary in another bag, the vehicle will come to pick us at Kukke on Sunday along with ur main luggage bag.
• Take forest permission, Start the trek
• Reach peak around 12 P.M, Start descending towards Kukke side
• Stop at few iconic points of Kumara Parvatha , Continue the trek till Bhatrumane / Campsite
• Reach campsite around 5 P.M, Occupy your alloted tents
• Roam around / rest , Have dinner around 8.30 P.M
• Retire for the day

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟑 / 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚y

• Wakeup early, Freshen up
• Have breakfast, Start descending towards Kukke Subrahmanya around 7 am
• Stop at a waterfalls / stream between the trek, spend some time there
• Continue the trek, Reach Kukke around 11AM
• Check-in to a lodge for freshen up.
• Check-out from the lodge, Pay quick visit to Kukke Subrahmanya temple, if you would like to.
• Have self sponsored lunch at Kukke town
• Start journey towards Bengaluru, Reach Bengaluru around 10 P.M

Cost inclusions:

• Travel from & to Bengaluru ( Non AC Pushback seater )
• Tented accommodation inside forest. Note – No need to carry the tents during trek, we arrange tents directly at the campsite. We provide only tents, u need to bring ur own blanket.
• 4 times food ( Saturday breakfast, Lunch & dinner. Sunday breakfast )
• Fresheup arrangement in a lodge on first day morning & 2nd day afternoon.
• Forest permission fees, Trek lead / Trip coordinator.

Things to carry:

• Track pant & T-shirt, Extra clothes / garments as per your requirement.
• Comfortable pair of shoes with good grip, Extra pair of footwear as per your requirement.
• Umbrella & Hat, Extra plastic covers / pouches to carry back your wet clothes.
• A day bag / Small bag to carry during trek.
• 1 / 2 ltrs water bottle each, Snacks / dry fruits during trek
• Toiletries, Fully charged Power Bank if you already have. * Not mandatory
• A torch ( Even a small torch will do )

Cancellation policy:

• Advance amount of 499 rs is non refundable in case of cancellation.
• If the trip is cancelled from our end due to any unavoidable circumstances, the advance amount will be refunded immediately. Well, trip getting cancelled is very rare though.

Boarding points & timings:

Friday evening departure.

• Majestic – Shanthala silks, near Metro station ( 9.30 P.M )
• Rajajinagara ( Opposite Sagar hotel, near Navarang theatre ( 10.00 P.M )
• Yeshwanthpura ( Hotel Konkan, beside Govardhan theatre ( 10.20 P.M )
• Goraguntepalya ( People tree hospital ) 10.30 P.M

Important points:

• Kumara Parvatha trek comes with very basic arrangements. Plz come with an open and adjusting mindset, plz be cooperative with the team and coordinator. Keep
• Seats will be on First come first take basis. No seat numbers or reservations. Same seat should be taken during return journey too.
• Will arrange for freshup before & after the trek at a lodge ** At camping site only couple of toilets available.
• Cigarettes / alcohol is strictly prohibited during the entire event. ** Camping site comes under reserve forest, so smoking and drinking is strictly prohibited duirng stay too.
