The Kalasa Ridge trek has all the flavors of a western ghats trek. You have the combination of the lovely Shola forests, streams gushing towards a waterfall, beautiful grasslands which open up to the view of the entire region of Kalasa

Every Friday night departure from Bengaluru. Back to Bengaluru on Sunday late night.

Itinerary

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏 / 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲

9:30 PM – Departure from Bengaluru ( Pickup points mentioned below )
Stop for break around 11:30 pm. There won’t be much option in the menu for dinner at late-night, so better to finish dinner before boarding.
Continue overnight journey towards Base point.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐 / 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲

7 AM – Reach Base / Homestay
Freshen-up, get ready & have Breakfast
Take Jeep ride to trek starting point
Indulge in the trek till evening covering 3 peak points, in between the trek will have packed lunch.
Return back to stay & freshen-up
Enjoy the pleasant evening along with Campfire & chit-chat with fellow travellers
Have dinner
Retire for the day

Wake up early morning & Get ready by 7:00 AM
Have Breakfast & 7:30 AM Checkout from stay.
Jeep ride to Kyatanamakki hills. Spend some time at top enjoying the 360° views.
Jeep ride to ancient cave temple.
Jeep ride to Panchami kallu view point
Visit Hornadu temple & have self sponsored lunch
Start return Journey towards Bengaluru
Approx 9.30 PM – Reach Bengaluru

Cost inclusions:

Transport from & to Bengaluru ( Non AC pushback seater/ Mini Bus/Tempo traveler – Depends on the Group size )

Stay in a Homestay on group sharing basis in Rooms / dormitory / Tents. Separate for Men & Women )

Separate tent accommodation can be given for couples if intended

Things to carry:

Track pant & T-shirt, Extra clothes / garments as per your requirement.

Comfortable pair of shoes with good grip, Extra pair of footwear as per your requirement.

Umbrella & Hat, Extra plastic covers / pouches to carry back your wet clothes.

A day bag / Small bag to carry during trek.

1 / 2 ltrs water bottle each, Snacks / dry fruits during trek

Toiletries, Fully charged Power Bank if you already have. Not mandatory

A torch ( Even a small torch will do )

Cancellation policy:

Advance amount of 1000Rs is non refundable in case of cancellation.

If the trip is cancelled from our end due to any unavoidable circumstances, the advance amount will be refunded immediately.

Well, trip getting cancelled is very rare though.

Boarding points & timings: Friday evening departure.

9:00 P.M – Majestic – Shanthala silks.

9:30 P.M – Rajajinagara – Bus stop opposite Sagar hotel near Navarang theater.

9:45 P.M – Yeshwanthpura – Hotel Konkan express near Metro station.

10:00 P.M – Goraguntepalya People Tree hospital

And anywhere further till Nelamangla

Important points:

This is an adventurous trip, please come with an open and adjusting mindset. Don’t expect luxury.

As this is a group trip, kindly be cooperative & friendly with co-travelers & Trip coordinator for smooth execution of the trip

Smoking & consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited during Trekking & journey.

Any kind of misbehavior or actions that may spoil the atmosphere of the trip won’t be tolerated.
