Banasura Hill trek offers a thrilling adventure in Wayanad, Kerala, India. Hike through lush forests to reach the Banasura Peak and enjoy panoramic views of the Western Ghats.

Every Friday night departure from Bengaluru. Back to Bengaluru on Sunday late night.

Itinerary

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏 / 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲

9.00 PM – Departure from Bengaluru ( Pickup points mentioned below )
Stop for break around 11:30 pm. There won’t be much option in the menu for dinner at late-night,
Better to finish dinner before boarding.
Continue overnight journey towards Base point.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐 / 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲

Reach homestay by 5;30 A.M.
Quick fresh-up • Get ready, Finish Breakfast, start journey towards Trek base point.
Around 9 AM start the trek, reach peak around 12;30 pm and enjoy the mismermizing view of Dam backwater in between lush green mountains.
Have packed lunch at the peak and Start descending.
Finish trek around 4 PM & visit Meenmutty Falls.
Back to Homestay around 6 pm.
Have some tea & snacks • Fresh-up, around 8;30- 9 PM have dinner with campire (if weather permits).
Retire for the day / Sleep early as you have to getup early next morning.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟑 / 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲

Wake up early morning & Get ready by 7:00 AM
Have Breakfast & 7:30 AM Checkout from stay.
Visit to Banasura dam and Back water sports activity point around 08:00 AM & spend some time at water activity point (All activities are self sponsored).
Start Journey towards Tea museum Around 12 pm.
Visit Zipline point- Have playful time in longest zipline at tea estate (Which is part of package inclusion).
Stop for self sponsored lunch around 2:00pm.
Start journey towards Bengaluru & reach Bengaluru by10:00 PM.

Cost inclusions:

Transport from & to Bengaluru ( Non AC pushback seater / mini bus/TT).
State vehicle permit.
Stay in a Homestay on group sharing basis in Rooms / dormitory / Tents. Separate for Men & Women ) * Separate tent accommodation can be given for couples if intended.
4 meals ( 2 Breakfast 1 Lunch & 1 dinner ) and Snacks.
Forest permit, Trek lead. Tea museum entry fee, Zipline-Tea estate.
Campfire / Bonfire if weather permits.
Travell insurance ( only accidents & medical expenses)

Things to carry:

Track pant & T-shirt, Extra clothes / garments as per your requirement.

Comfortable pair of shoes with good grip, Extra pair of footwear as per your requirement.

Umbrella & Hat, Extra plastic covers / pouches to carry back your wet clothes.

A day bag / Small bag to carry during trek.

1 / 2 ltrs water bottle each, Snacks / dry fruits during trek

Toiletries, Fully charged Power Bank if you already have. Not mandatory

A torch ( Even a small torch will do )

Exclusion:

Backwater sports activities (Speed boating, coracle ride, Zipline, Kayaking etc).
Sunday lunch.

Cancellation policy:

Advance amount of 1000Rs is non refundable in case of cancellation.

If the trip is cancelled from our end due to any unavoidable circumstances, the advance amount will be refunded immediately.

Well, trip getting cancelled is very rare though.

Boarding points & timings: Friday evening departure.

9:30 PM – Majestic metro – Shanthala silks or indiranagar karachi bakery- (depends on majority of persons).
10:00 PM – Satelite – Mysore road Bus stop infront of A2B Hotel.
10:30 PM – RR nagar – Gopalan Mall.
10:50 PM – Kengeri Bus stop.

Important points:

This is an adventurous trip, please come with an open and adjusting mindset. Don’t expect luxury.

As this is a group trip, kindly be cooperative & friendly with co-travelers & Trip coordinator for smooth execution of the trip

Smoking & consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited during Trekking & journey.

Any kind of misbehavior or actions that may spoil the atmosphere of the trip won’t be tolerated.
