The Grand Canyon of India will mystify you with its stunning views and rich topography. Gandikota is a spectacular Gorge formed by River Pennar that cuts through the Erramala range of hills.
Ok let’s stop wasting our time and head to the astounding unexplored places of Gandikota . Let’s goooooo!!

Caves Trip : An overview (2D/1N)

Day 1/ Saturday

• Board the bus / TT and leave Bangalore by 6:30 AM
• Small icebreaker session to get to know your fellow travel buddies.
• Stop for breakfast on the way at 9:30 AM
• Visit Lepakshi Temple
• Have Lunch
• Reach Gandikota Campsite
• Head to Gandikota Viewpoint for sunset(Grand Canyon of India)
• Enjoy the campfire, with singing, dancing, and showcasing other talents.
• Savor the lip-smacking local cuisine dinner and sign off for the day in homestay.

Day 2/ Sunday

• Wake up and freshen up.
• Gandikota Viewpoint for sunrise
• Have tea/coffee and breakfast and checkout
• Visit Gandikota Fort. Explore the place.
• Head to Belum caves (60 km from Gandikota)
• Have lunch and start to Bangalore
• Reach Bangalore by 10:00pm (approx)

Cost inclusions:

• Travel from Bangalore To Gandikota Campsite in Non AC TT / Minibus (depending upon the number of people)
• 2 meals: 1 breakfasts (Day 2), and 1 Dinner (Day 1)
• Accommodation in rooms on multiple sharing basis separate for guys and girls)
• Local Guide and Outdoor trek leader from Team weekend Trekkers
• Entry charges for all the places mentioned.
• Andhra Pradesh state tax
• 5 % GST

Cost Exclusions:

• Meals other than those mentioned in the itinerary
• Any Kind of Personal Expenses
• Any kind of Insurances (health, life, accidental, medical, etc)
• Anything that is not included in the above list

Note:

• Carry at least one Id proof (Driving License, Voter Id, or Aadhar card) (Mandatory)
• Seats will be on First come first take basis. No seat numbers or reservations. Same seat should be taken during return journey too.
• Smoking / alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited during trekking & journey.
• As this is a group trip, plz be cooperative & friendly with the whole group & trip co-ordinator.
• Any kind of misbehavior or actions that may effect the trip or other participants won’t be tolerated

• Pay 1000rs advance and Book your seat, remaining pay during the start of the trip.

Things to carry:

• Track pant or shorts & Rain coat, Umbrealla, Water bottle, power bank.
• One small day bag to carry water bottle & packed lunch during 1st day’s trek
• And other basic necessities like Tooth paste / brush, Soap, towel etc

Cancellation policy:

• Advance amount of 1000rs is non refundable in case of cancellation.
• If the trip is cancelled from our end due to any unavoidable circumstances, the advance amount will be refunded immediately. Well, trip getting cancelled is very rare though.

Boarding points & timings:

Saturday Morning departure.

• Majestic Metro station (Shantala Silks and Sarees)| 6:30 – 7:00 AM
• Mekhri Circle | 7:20 AM
• Hebbal Bus Stop | 7:40 AM
• Any changes in the pickup location/timings will be informed to you 24 hours in advance
• Drop-off points shall be the same as the pick-up points.

Important points:

• This is an adventurous trip, plz come with an open and adjusting mindset. Don’t expect luxury.
• As this is a group trip, kindly be cooperative & friendly with cotravellers & Trip co-ordinator for smooth execution of the trip
• Smoking & consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited during Trekking & journey.
• Any kind of misbehavior or actions that may spoil the atmosphere of the trip won’t be tolerated.
